  • When you go to the reef, be sure to visit the courtyard. A site that brings together history, architecture, culture. Be sure to go on Black Tuesday. An event done by the Unified black movement and the city of Recife, where every Tuesday gather groups of the most genuine black culture of Pernambuco. Not to be missed.

  • Very beautiful church, but without conservation as most of the historical buildings of the town and a shame to see all deteriorating.

  • Architecture of old Recife. It is worth visiting the memorial of Chico Science and Luís Gonzaga memorial, both located in the courtyard of St. Peter. Avoid going to night, memorial works during the day only.
