Where to stay in Recife

It's no surprise that the vast majority of accommodations in Recife crowd around the city's long expanses of shorefront. Consider the southern coastal neighborhood of Boa Viagem for instant access to miles of vibrant beachfront, the prime location for locals and tourists alike to make the most of the sunshine. As well as high-end hotels and beach resorts, you can opt to stay in a range of fun, budget hostels, thanks to Recife's ever-growing popularity among backpackers. If you want something a bit quieter, look to the nearby historical town of Olinda, just 6 km (3.7) north of the city center. From there, you can easily make day--or night--trips to Recife proper.

  • There is a tour of the Palace, which shows, your interior with details in various halls and even the room in which the late Governor Agamemnon Magalhães, slept at the time was tenant of this Palace. Besides the building itself there are story told by the Guide, which is quite curious and interesting, moreover, have a unique view from the gardens of the Capibaribe River and rua da Aurora. Worth it!

  • Be able to revive our past through the rooms of the Campo das Princesas Palace is an experience. Furniture, tables, chandeliers, all wealth that delights the eyes! Not to be missed.

  • 👍👍👍👍
  • We did a tour and inside is beautiful as much as it is on the outside. All very well preserved. Beautiful staircase, Elevator, carvings and mouldings too well decorated and painted. Has a living room with table set with crockery and cutlery. I don't know if they still do this tour!
