  • It took me two Italian tourists to this Palace, which is open to visitation during the weekdays in the morning and afternoon. But the access is allowed only to the staircase where the beautiful and immense stained glass Windows depicting the revolution of 1817. Were the stained-glass Windows the item that most caught the eye of my tourists.

  • The Palace was designed from 1786 by Governor José César Meneses and built in 1841. In front there is a tree Adansonia digitata (African Baobab) secular, that probably was the inspiration for Saint Exupéry before writing the little Prince

  • Luckily, the day of my visit, there was a presentation of Opera in place. It was fantastic. Unforgettable. After the presentation, did the guided tour. It is fast and a bit superficial, but interesting to know the participation of Pernambuco in Brazil's political history

  • We did a tour and inside is beautiful as much as it is on the outside. All very well preserved. Beautiful staircase, Elevator, carvings and mouldings too well decorated and painted. Has a living room with table set with crockery and cutlery. I don't know if they still do this tour!
