  • Open visitation to the Palace on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Large groups require prior scheduling by e-mail. I was alone, I got there, I signed up and began the visitation. I was guided by Ms. Diana and Nice, very knowledgeable in the history of our State. I loved hearing the stories, meet the dependencies of the building, shooting environments and the beautiful garden. I am a resident of the Reef and had never been in this place. Who is here and you don't know yet.. go. Who is tourist ... go also. Recommend!!!!

  • 👍👍👍👍
  • The Republic usurped Imperial estates. This rotten Republic and thief! Its construction is dated to the mid-19th century, when, in 1841, the then Governor Francisco do Rego Barros, future count of Boa Vista, sent the engineer Firmino Herculano de Morais Âncora build the Provincial Palace that the Republic would turn in the Palace State. In 1859 underwent a renovation to host the Emperor Dom Pedro II, the Empress Dona Teresa Cristina of Bourbon-Two Sicilies and his daughters, when he was named Campo das Princesas, initially given to the garden where princesses play, after extending the denomination to the Palace. In the year 1920, the building was extensively refurbished, if built another floor in order to cover the entire body of the building, giving you more breadth. Such works were completed only in 1922, during the interim Government of Severino Pinheiro, due to the death of Governor José Rufino Bezerra Cavalcanti.

  • A beautiful building, seat of the State Government of Pernambuco! Wealth of the people of Pernambuco! Offers guided tours on Thursdays and Fridays with limitation of places within the Palace. And on Sundays with full access to the Palace in all sectors!
