  • The sculpture park as it is known, was built on top of the reef that gave name to the city. As an option of quick ride, worth paying the boat and take a picture of the sculptures over the corner. Just watch the waves that sometimes break the rocks and catch us by surprise, lol.

  • I went to work to this immense Museum taking two American tourists, because the site is part of a screenplay called "reef". But when encountering the erotic sculptures representing Phalluses and the like I noticed the two tourists were visibly embarrassed. They told me to be Evangelical and that eroticism or in spelling were not subjects who appreciated. I apologized for having taken there and also I was embarrassed.

  • It's like entering a dream world. The monumental work of Francisco Brennand and its ceramic art dialogue with the mythological universe and at the same time acquire a totally unique. Ride of a lifetime.

  • Those art works of Brennand reminded me of Antonio Gaudi as they expressed human essential instincts and desires, in supernatural ways. This museum is just like a theme park and it has a lot of mysterious objects including the temple surrounded by water and a construction reminiscent of ancient Roman baths. It has a nice café. But this site is located in the forest of an isolated lonely area named Várzea, in the urban areas of Recife, so I recommend taking a taxi at the terminal named "Terminal Rodoviário do Recife", which you can access by train from the central railway station of Recife, or from other cities directly.
