  • I went to the St. Joseph market wondering find all area of the Reef, and I came across a lot of dirt. Anyway I got nothing and went back to the hotel after a big scare a trawler in the Centre of Recife. Council has to go to the market or don't let anyone realize that you're a tourist, the exploitation is more.

  • Authentic street market with lots of indoor artisanry shops and many stands with vegetables, fruits, spices, snacks, meat, poultry and seafood. The earlier you go the better. Expect the messiness and hectic ambiance of any third world street market. I wouldn't recommend it for the infirm, families with pets, small children or toddlers. Vendors only speak Brazilian Portuguese. Great for getting a legit taste of life from the point of view of local working class people. Much better to go with a person who has been there before.
  • Muito bom, tudo mais barato.
  • Ótimo para compras, porém é bem sujo.
  • É um local visitado por turistas de toda parte do mundo.
  • Bom lugar para se visitar e comprar artesanto
