  • IGREJA MATRIX OF SANTO ANTONIO Catholic Temple located in front of the square that belongs to the Franciscan order and which forms part of the complex of buildings together with the convent, the Capela Dourada and the Franciscan Museum of sacred art. At the beginning of the 18TH century the existing chapel was replaced by a church which was then remodelled and expanded between 1753 and 1770, conserving the original Baroque elements. On the facade there are large windows framed in stone carved with ornaments and garlands. In the Centre of the pediment a coat of arms of the order and there is a side Tower on the left side with a Bell Tower. Inside there is a single nave with tile panels with scenes from the life of Santo Antonio, a pulpit and large spiders that hang from the ceiling Monday through Friday from 7 to 12 and from 14 to 18; 16-18 Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 12 and 16 to 18hs

  • One of the oldest of the reef and can be visited even though its facade works. It has Baroque works.

  • This church is too old and needs a lot of time-consuming reforms, which are doing. As far as I'm informed, there are only masses in a small space on your sidebar, with capacity for few people. But the Love of God is present in this place, for all the stars in the universe.
