  • For the first time I walked in this church, which is indented next to the Basilica of our Lady of Mount Carmel. The unusual twist was a small Mall with Royal Palms on both sides. The Church itself is Baroque, with 78 paintings on the ceiling representing the visions of Saint Teresa D Avila ´.

  • I went to this church and to access a beautiful shopping mall Royal Palms. At the entrance of the church a gentle tour guide took me in and gave all the explanations. These guides are part of the Sacred Reef program, maintained by the city of Recife. She explained that the schedule of the guides is from Monday to Friday, morning and afternoon.

  • CHURCH SANTA TERESA D'AVILA of the third order Carmelite (Avda Dantas Barreto 646) Church of Baroque style, typical of the 18TH century which began to be built in 1700 and was completed in 1837. In the center of the altar there is an image of Na Sra do Carmo carved gilt-wood. Notable are the pieces carved in wood, tiles and Baroque paintings with scenes from the life of Santa Teresa. In the input hya a double row of Palm trees
