  • My husband and I were in the Family Winery the day October 29 Burden. As always I program my travels in advance had already been researching the wineries of the region and we decided for her just for the positive reviews. I got out of the River with my scheduled visit (I did everything by e-mail) to the Sunday at 3:00 pm. As I had an accident I called and asked if it would be possible to return for the time of the tasting, which was promptly accepted. We got to the place around 1:00 pm for a tasting Trinna (consisting of visitation of the structure accompanied by an oenologist or responsible, which gives tips and information about the labels with a tasting of 3 wines and the side dishes that best harmonize with wines chosen ) and we were greeted by the oenologist Philipe. Kind and gentle, he told us the story of the beginning of the Vineyard and showed us the whole process of wine production. Explained the differences of each and led us inside in presenting the local particularity. Answered all of our questions and even offered us various tips for storage of our wines. We did our tasting in a place of its own, with a Board with cheeses, sausages and honey, all harmonizing perfectly with the wines we chose. I made up my mind by light wines and my husband by more structured wines, but in the end it is possible to make a small tasting in the bar of all House wines. Ali met Manoel Burden, one of the site owners and we talked some more about the winery and the wines. It was so difficult to choose the best that bought almost all the wines from Wine production line. As we didn't want to have job to dispatch on the flight, they offered the shipment by carrier, which for us was very convenient. We get around 3 hours on site and we only found strengths. Beautiful place and Nice, the winemaker Philipe was unmatched in his explanations and attendance and the wines are delicious. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Super recommend!

  • I'm no expert in wine, just like, but into this Winery that nobody in the city indicated was the best choice we made on the trip. The place is very nice and with a great disposition. Upon arriving we were very well received by Mr. Ambrose who showed us the manufacture of wine and a brief lesson on the subject, as well as on the history of the family, right after we were sent to sample the wines are great and we were also very well attended by Justin the, proved several wines and grappa, drink made with the grape Peel (very strong). Anyway the place is great, not only for the wine, but the experience that we have provided. Outside the wines have some products, including chocolates are great. I hope to return as soon as possible.
