Praia do Rosa, Praia do Rosa

(4.7/5 based on 2,400+ reviews on the web)
The only Brazilian beach to have a coveted top 30 spot in “The Most Beautiful Bays In The World” club, Praia do Rosa is definitely worthy. As you make your way down to the sweeping stretch of white-gold sand surrounded by tropical jungle, forested mountains, and serene lakes, you will be struck by the same paradisiacal view that won it accolade. Managing to stay under the radar, you will find the beach relatively secluded with a few surfers dotting the waves. Several orchid-scented trails lead to higher ground that provides you with impressive panoramic views and the opportunity for some whale-spotting. The pretty town that shares its name with the beach has grown from a tiny fishing village where you will find excellent restaurants and bars. Over a plate of delicious, fresh seafood and a glass of cold beer, you can enjoy the barefoot, laid-back atmosphere that makes Praia do Rosa the perfect destination. • Bad access, private parking in the range of 40 reais (has no place out because the amount of vehicles to the narrow streets) with no infrastructure for post Beach bath and toilets. Very short of what I expected and what they were saying. Undeniable natural beauty.

  • Of the most beautiful beaches I know, but definitely for those who enjoy walking, Woods, trail and a vibe plus roots. The access road, on rainy days, is almost impassable to so many holes, but say that is very worthwhile. Even better is walking and knowing the trails that provide access to the North, South and Rose Pink beaches. Without parking stress and such. Many gastronomic options and musicals who's into reggae, pop and rock. Visual beautiful, amazing sea, charming architecture, but it has to be available for a walk.

  • A beautiful beach with a little tricky but worth the effort. Crystal clear waters, but more cold on beaches further north. A great place for hiking and enjoy nature. We did all the trails that were between the beaches and can meet places where only you have access on foot. And each landscape more beautiful than the other, worth every km walked:)
