Projeto Tamar, Praia do Forte

(4.3/5 based on 5,500+ reviews on the web)
Dedicated to the protection of sea turtles along the Brazilian coast, Projeto Tamar is a conservation project that allows you to view several types of turtles and a couple of sharks. If you're interested in eco-tourism, this is must-see attraction. The organized grounds contain large tanks where you can view turtles in an environment that mimics their wild habitat. While this is an interesting attraction all year round, it is especially touching from October to March when you can watch the release of baby turtles into the wild. • Cool ride to take the children but run of the times of too much sun. The sand burns the walk of shame and has few trees and little shade. The pleasant walk can become an Indian program if they are half day of Sun to crack as I went.

  • The visit has already justified only by the work of preservation that is made for sea turtle. It's a really cool place, even for small children.

  • The visitor, after pay to have access to the Tamar project, gets totally lost, not knowing where to go, where to start. There is no official available for guidance. Could create a guide printed on the best times to use the Sub, cinema (abandoned, with sound disabled), as well as guide on the tour (by the way, very good). Other than that, it's a very interesting place for adults and children
