Forte Beach, Praia do Forte
(4.5/5 based on 5,500+ reviews on the web)
Forte Beach, or Praia do Forte is a beach and coastal village boasting its beautiful beaches as a relaxing alternative to the large crowds of Salvador. While this is a touristy area, there is still a small-town feel with merchants selling wood-fired tapioca pancake. While touring the area, you'll find plenty of places to rent a bicycle that allows you to become acquainted with the quaint streets and several nice trails. Surfing and paragliding are popular sports with rentals available in town. You'll find the best swimming further down the beach past Projeto Tamar. When the tide is out, you'll see tide pools full of sea life that you can even see without a mask and snorkel. With our online itinerary creator, Praia do Forte attractions like Forte Beach can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • It is 60 km from Salvador and 20 km of Jacuipe bar where she was staying. It's nice to go to spend the end of sema since go live and back in Salvador becomes tiring and as well as enjoy the beach you can go to the village of fishermen, Tamar project and go to the Castle Garcia Davilla, Texas. The water of the sea was the right temperature and no waves. But the strip of sand is very narrow and making chairs and nesas tents. You can't set up a children's paddling pool or extend a towel for a baby to sleep. We had lunch at the lobster Bar Garcia Davilla, Texas (R$130,0) + fish bait (30.00 per) and were well attended at the top can take a bath in fresh water to remove the salt.

  • Beautiful beach, very clean, and with formation of natural pools at low tide. Great for snorkeling and children.

  • Praia do forte has a very nice and worth a walk by to buy some souvenirs. The beaches are hot and relaxing. A tip is to rent a biketaxi and have fun on your trip!
