Curral Beach, Praia da Pipa

Beach
Popularly known as Baía dos Golfinhos--or 'Dolphin Cove'--Curral Beach can only be accessed at low tide, as it lies at the base of imposing, but beautiful, red-streaked cliffs. With warm, shallow, and inviting water, it is impossible to resist joining the dolphins in the sea. Despite the difficulty of access, locals manage to bring down chairs and parasols to rent, and drinks to buy. • Beautiful beach, beside the Baía dos Golfinhos. Tranquil sea of warm waters and Dolphin vision especially in the morning. The only drawback is that around 3:30 pm to 3:00 pm/return to Dolphin Bay due to the rising tide that prevents access between one and another beach.

  • Very nice beach quiet as there is to go with children that take into account tides, because stay barado there, at the turn but going before suba is complicated through the rocks that are as 2 blocks long and more still if you are travelling with young children. But it is super recommended

  • Following the Baía dos Golfinhos can walk to Praia do Curral when the tide is low. The strip of sand is quite large, there's no turmoil with a lot of people, is worth knowing.
