Tororao Beach, Prado

#1 of 16 in Things to do in Prado
Located twelve miles from downtown Prado you will find Tororao Beach, surrounded by cliffs and salt water pools formed by the rocks. The mini waterfall can cool you off after walking the rocks and basking in the sun. There is a freshwater spout, which is constantly gushing, providing a nice alternative to the seawater, and a place to wash off the salty water. The restaurant at the beach provides many great food options. To visit Tororao Beach on your trip to Prado, use our Prado vacation route planner.

Stunning landscape, with cliffs and waterfalls. Access by car is not very easy, because the road is dirt and, when it rains, there's a lot of mud.

Beautiful beach! Has a restaurant open. Worth the visit, save the image in my mind and in the photographic machine.

The beach of Tororao has a very good structure. Also has fantastic natural beauties. The road to get there is terrible. But it's worth it.

Where to stay in Prado

As the center of the municipality, the town of Prado enjoys a surprisingly large array of places to stay. The general emphasis is on modest guesthouses, known as pousadas, offering simple, comfortable rooms for good prices. The southeastern area of town has the greatest selection of lodgings, with enough choice to suit a range of tastes and budgets. However, if you head a little farther inland--to the west of Avenida Jose Pontes de Almeida, for example--prices drop markedly, since you'll be (just a little bit) farther from the beaches.
