  • Historically could be a-if not the best-historic site, once the objects are extremely interesting and rare, however, just the scene that a mixture of enthusiasm with disappointment take care .... sad

  • As well as several comments indicate, the abandoned railway museum and weather-resistant fully exposed and without maintenance. There are many spaces, sale of souvenirs, and there occurs the embarkation of boat trips, but everything is very "cocked". Go and get angry with the disregard with which we deal with a lot in our country.

  • Unfortunately with good location and structure, which is abandoned by the Government. What makes history with visitation. Much material has been lost, so you can see for lack of conservation.

Where to stay in Porto Velho

As a destination with few tourists, Porto Velho does not feature an overabundance of accommodation options, though you'll find enough of a range to fit most budgets. Avenida 7 de Septiembre has quite a few economy hotels and hostels, where rock-bottom prices sometimes come with dubious quality and cleanliness. Most of the city's more upscale establishments, which range from family-run guesthouses to midsize hotel blocks, lie near one of the town's main thoroughfares, Avenida Governador Jorge Teixeira. Few options exist farther outside town, and you'll likely want access to a car in order to get around efficiently as public transport in the area can be unreliable.
