Passarela do Descobrimento, Porto Seguro

Despite the name, Passarela do Descobrimento, which means "Alcohol Catwalk," this area has more options than just alcohol. Locals sell traditional crafts and ethnic foods from stalls along the walkways. Street performers entertain you with music and dancing while you enjoy a fresh-fruit cocktail to start your evening. When you get you're thirsty, and you will, try the local drink called capeta made with vodka, condensed milk, guaraná berry extract, and cinnamon served over ice. • Traditional handicraft fair and regional foods. Open during the evening the tents but the place gets busy and difficult to get around and Park arrive early.

  • There everything happens. Shops, bars and restaurants next to each other. A variety of shops. Night street vendors also ride their stalls and is a joy, but there are portions that the sidewalks and flare region is a difficult walk for them-option: take the street safely. Is a "shake" only.

  • Very cool. Worth going to. And interesting prices. Staff very nice. There's a lot of memories to take: crafts, t-shirts, sarongs, pepper, keychains, etc.

Where to stay in Porto Seguro

Luxury hotels and beach resorts are the name of the game when it comes to accommodations in Porto Seguro, with many tourists looking to relax and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. Most of these lie a couple of miles north of the city center, pressed up against long stretches of beach. To enjoy the party scene and get close to the best things to see in Porto Seguro, stay in the narrow streets of the old town. However, if the nightlife seems a bit too intense for your taste, consider the plentiful options in Arraial d'Ajuda--a smaller, quieter town just a couple of miles to the south.
