  • But what a pleasant surprise it was to know the butterfly garden, or as my wife and I play: the butterfly orchid nursery. RS the place is beautiful from the entrance, the lawn, the coconut trees flanking the road, and we were greeted by one of its founders, Felix, we explained how it would be the ride, we'd be spending by 3 ponds with butterflies, by a laboratory and that at the end of the tour we could choose to go through a short path that took us straight to the entrance/exit of the Park , or go through a long and ecological way that takes us to a lake with pedal boats shaped like swans. So did Felix called the radio Guide, and behold, there came the Gabriel, a boy super young law student (not Biology?!), but who has a passion so great and so much enthusiasm for the butterflies that left us thrilled and excited in a few moments. Gabriel explained everything to us in each step of the tour, things I never would have thought about this bug, a large Biology class, live and in many colors flying. We help to loosen one of the two ponds that butterflies were born minutes before. We take great shots with butterflies for the environment and in our hands, but the apex of the tour was when we got to the lab and we could take the larvae would have turned to butterflies soon, and where Gabriel explained in details the entire process of transformation of larvae into butterflies. Anyway, when we got to the end of the tour, we decided to go through the ecological path, longer, which I don't recommend it for people with special needs and/or people with mobility problems, because the descent is steep, and there is no handrails to hold. All the rest of the Park however, is adapted for those who have problem of locomotion with ramps and handrails on all sides. My wife and I don't go to pedal, but I think we should have done:( When we got back to the park entrance Gabriel awaited us again, and accompanied us to the exit door. Oh ... and they sell key chains and earrings with real butterflies wings out of the Park. No, it's not evil, are wings of butterflies that died and that now contribute to the maintenance of the Park, since the income from the sale of these articles and by the entry pay for each visitor. The Magic Wings Butterfly Garden is very beautiful and important, which aims above all the preservation of species, many of them endangered. Unfortunately the tour operators in the region have not yet understood that and really didn't take tourists there. We arrived there at 3:00 pm and we were the only visitors to the Park. I hope truth and heart this place thrive and people to meet. It was a fantastic alternative ride! Important tips: 1. Rates: $20 adults/R$40 children of 5 to 10 years/free for children up to 4 years; 2. Open from Wednesday to Saturday 9 at 4:00 pm; 3. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours; 4. In the morning the butterflies are usually more active in the nurseries and the greater the possibility of witnessing one of them leaving the cocoon in the lab.

  • Fantastic place. You back your imagination. I was suspicious. But I really enjoyed and had wonderful surprises the place is just beautiful. Too bad people don't enjoy this type of tourism.

Vale a pena conhecer!
