  • Square with plenty of trees, and has some beautiful buildings, stately architecture. ... Post Office, Customs, and others.

  • Large and well wooded area, deserves a visit, has a lot of trade in General to your surroundings and museums of great importance to your city. However has many beggars, smells and requires care like the classic annoyance a tourist with camera in hand or neck, etc.

  • In the center of Poa you can stop during the rush of everyday life and enjoy this square. Artists, sell handicrafts and everyday movement.

  • A nice place to pass by, but not for staying too long. It has a few dodgy people around. Be careful and take some pictures. It's always better to go there in big groups. People who steal around there do so by grabbing the item and running. Therefore, look around being using electronic devices. There are some local markets there on weekends and some weekdays.
  • Near the Central Market. You must stop by if you're visiting downtown Porto Alegre. On the southern side (away from the water) are vendors from whom you can buy souvenirs, hats, chimarrao kits, leather/faux goods. The southern side has two quality museums, one of which has free entry. Good photo ops at the park. You can take your phone out, but don't be careless.
  • Local inseguro e sujo.
  • This place is beautiful, it is surrounded by museums and historic places. Once a year they run a massive book fair here, which is very famous as well. Be careful around here, thieves may be in action.
  • Tava cagando de medo de ser assaltado. Porto Alegre está difícil. Tenho medo de ir aí.
