  • This museum is a place that represents the culture and tradition of our ancestors since time well.

  • I was visiting with my son, to make high school research about culture, I found a site that looked abandoned ... a disappointment

  • Old furniture and objects among which stands out the boot of a "giant" who lived in Rio Grande do Sul. Is in the city center. If you're with kids, pay attention in a part where are exposed materials that were used for torturing slaves and go right. Worth the visit because the Museum is very beautiful, the kids don't usually pay attention to the objects of torture because the point really ... Is the giant!

  • The four stars are for the building. There are some cool historical objects here, especially from the Guarani in the Seven Missions area. As a history nut I was very excited to visit this museum but, unfortunately, it is half-abandoned, like many others in Brazil. Next to the cathedral and Marechal Deodoro Park. Free entry, so definitely worth the visit.
  • A lot of history badly presented. Some rooms are almost bare and the more interesting exhibits are in darkness. In need of someone with vision to bring it to life. Better use of space, decent lighting, a café and a shop would help.
