  • Is not too large, but there are several tanks and military weaponry. There is a tank that can go up and look inside. There are guns, guns and more. Very cool and different ride for the family. Recommend and return.

  • Eventually peaceful people appreciate also the story-and the story is marked by military events. Whenever I can, in any country, visit its military museums, which-in addition to providing me the contemplation of military artifacts-permits me to understand something of their "myth makers", i.e., of heroes and their deeds.

  • Museum back for those who like trivia war with most of the military equipment of the time of the second world war or used by the Brazilian Army. Combat tanks (Leopard 1 A1, M B 41 Walker Bulldog and M3 A1 Stuart), howitzers (105 M 102 air, 75 Pack and 7, 5 cm Gebirgeschutz 36 l), armoured cars (M59, M8, T17, M2 A1), Guns (Vickers Armstrong 152.4 mm M919 Krupp M939 and Schneider) in addition to vehicles and Artillery pieces are worth mui to enjoy their punishment details. Both the Combat tank Leopard as the M59 Armored Transport can be visited inside. All items with good explanation and counting with the aid of some military personnel who stay inside the Museum. Without doubt one of the most interesting museums in Porto Alegre for the whole family to visit. Free entry.

  • Very cool military museum located in the historic section of Porto Alegre in Rio Grande do Sul. Impressive display of WWII era weapons and vehicles. Worth a visit if you are ever in Porto Alegre - by far my favorite museum in the city and it's free.

  • Worth a visit of who's walking through the historical centre of porto alegre. Admission is free and the acquis is well maintained and is available for those who want to enter the war tanks. I think that could have extended opening hours and, especially in the summer, stay open late.
