I was received by the artist's son, who struggles to keep the House and the father died. A lover of art, which unfortunately has little State support so that the visitor can get to know and admire the work of a local artist, who achieved excellence in your work.

Surely one of the greatest sculptors of all time. The son of the sculptor, Mr. Arno accompanied us and become rich in detail this visit. The Museum is maintained with own resources, therefore charges a q entry well worth paying. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of the family, the location is not suitable for keeping a collection of so great value ... including sketches of the sculptor who can deteriorate. Well worth checking out!

The Museum, which is opposite the entrance portico (South) of Pomerode, works only in the afternoon, between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm, as we were informed by the son of the late sculptor. Mr. Arno Yaz is a son of the famous sculptor and produces and sells wooden handicrafts. Told us that your father was born in Kiel, Germany in 1906 and came to Brazil in 1913, with your family. He studied in school of Blumenau and after their parents went to South River and there learned to work on the farm as well. Since little had interest in wood carving and drawing. Came to make gorgeous porcelain molds, at the time when he worked on Schmidt, of which various models are exposed in your House. On site there is a drawing of a Supper on the Government Palace of SC and a sculpture there exposed all carved. Worth a visit for those who like and appreciate art. Sorry the lack of financial incentive and support to keep the place open and with more appreciation of the work of the sculptor. We got there, we picked up horse in front of the OSTER FEST. We made two stops: one on the porch and in the Museum (in the meantime Mr. Cart did a walk) and then on Nugalli. (5 min).
