Cascata das Antas, Pocos de Caldas
Categories: Waterfalls, Nature & Parks
A home for ruins and water, Cascata das Antas is a beautiful location for nature walks and photo ops. There you'll find the ruins of a building reclaimed by vines and trees. The structure probably spent its functional life as a church, but now those memories are lost to time and what remains is protected by the forest's arms. The cascades themselves are a sight to behold, with water flowing over smoothed rock in a sheet of white spray. Be sure to wrap your camera in plastic to protect it from the cascade's shower. Para mim é o local mais interessante de todos em Poços de Caldas , com natureza exuberante , linda paisagem e a história do início da geração de energia na cidade nos idos de 1900.For me it is the most interesting of all in Poços de Caldas, with exuberant nature, beautiful scenery and the story of the beginning of the power generation in the city in 1900.show original
A cascata é um fio de agua, acho que a barragem diminuiu seu fluxo...a estrutura de pedra é bonita mas falta agua. The waterfall is a thread of water, I think the dam has shrunk its flow ... the stone structure is pretty but lack water.show original
Pra mim pode chamar de cachoeira, e não de cascata, pq ela é bem alta e volumosa. Mas perto do Véu né rssss Gostei mais dela pq dá pra chegar bem próximo, o acesso é livre, dá pra entrar mais em conta... read more »For me can call of waterfall, and cascade, not because she is very tall and bulky. But near the veil right rssss liked her cuz I can get very close, the access is free, you can get more in touch with nature. And the Veil, for being more dangerous and such, is more focused on p/photos, trade and services, q already access to fall is forbidden. Either way, a bad point is that all waters are polluted.show original
