Cascata das Antas, Pocos de Caldas

A home for ruins and water, Cascata das Antas is a beautiful location for nature walks and photo ops. There you'll find the ruins of a building reclaimed by vines and trees. The structure probably spent its functional life as a church, but now those memories are lost to time and what remains is protected by the forest's arms. The cascades themselves are a sight to behold, with water flowing over smoothed rock in a sheet of white spray. Be sure to wrap your camera in plastic to protect it from the cascade's shower. • The waterfall itself is beautiful, was a little dry, but I wouldn't miss the beauty. A shame that is contemplative only also.

  • The waterfall was suffering from lack of water. But it's worth a visit to get to know one of the most traditional places of the city.

  • I didn't know and I went this last time I went. It's a bit away from the city and lies within the plant. Is a very beautiful place, has immediately a waterfall between the stones, but the most beautiful part, gets a little higher up, where the US goes up some stairs and arrives in a ruin of the former plant and there is a beautiful waterfall, prettier than the first. Not to be missed!
