  • This waterfall is very good for families with small children, it has no trekking and is extremely easy to go. It's almost like a private club once it has a snack bar where you can buy food, açaí, beer...  more »
  • After seeing cachoeira do Abade, Araras seemed a bit small and out of the way. If you have time, and it's sunny, check it out. If you have to choose one waterfall to visit, visit Abade. The proprieter...  more »
  • I've been in Pirenópolis last weekend. As we only had a day in the city, choose the Cachoeira das Araras and no regrets. She is one of the closest to the falls and the city that has one of the stretches of dirt road. We pay 25 reais per person to access the site. The same has a good infrastructure and cars can stop right next to the waterfall (you have to cross a small stream to it, but nothing detrimental to the car, we were in a Ford Ka and we did it). The waterfall is beautiful and super clear water plus ice cold. The site also has a restaurant, a bar near the waterfall, bathroom (great structure for sign) and several stalls with tables and grills. If you are in a more natural vibe might not enjoy the place because several modifications were made to facilitate access by visitors. If you don't care that much and prefer the comfort she is the best option for those who spend just a day in the city, because it has easy access, the price is affordable and the waterfall as well as the infrastructure around her is great.
