Abade Waterfall, Pirenopolis

(4.5/5 based on 1,200+ reviews on the web)
The vibrant greenery, sandy beaches, hummingbirds, and rush of water create a natural nirvana, full of energy yet tranquil at the same time. The well-maintained trails are easy to walk, and you have two options for which way to go. One is the quicker, direct route, but choosing the longer of the two, you will pass by smaller waterfalls, lookout points with amazing views, and a natural aquarium teeming with wildlife before reaching the impressive Abade Waterfall. For an unforgettable experience, you can descend at the end of a rope down its 22 m (72 ft) drop into the large pool of crystal-clear green water and explore behind the waterfall. Put Abade Waterfall into our Pirenopolis vacation builder and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • The waterfall displays your beauty, but it's not for a lot of people in the bath area. As for the local restaurant found weak, taking reset self service.

  • Cm sure the most beautiful of the whole. Cold water, however wonderful. Of all the waterfalls, the favorite was her. :)

  • The location is very nice, are 4 waterfalls: 1 highest-sized and the 3 other smaller-style natural pool. The trail is all sidewalk in stone and was partially under construction-inaccessible. Receptionist unprepared against the information on the site. Cost of 30.00 per person (not accept), it takes min walking 2:00 to take advantage of and access by car until the site is bad (Earth).

  • The trip is long and dusty. The people behind the desk are rude and unflexible. Two stars because the guides were nice and helpful. Not worth the trip
  • Excellent, though popular, waterfall and swimming hole. Went with Agencia Pirenopolis. Great guide company. You can come here on your own, but you'll need a car and it will cost you R$20 to get in. There is a restaurant on the property as well. Go for a swim under the falls!
  • Beautiful waterfall and swimming hole
