Sertao Museum is a simple museum showcasing the hard life under the rule of the coroneis (local political masters with engrossing power), weapons used by outlaws, Brazilian cowboys and smugglers. There are photos that show the history of the region, a collection of items from Lampiao, who was a famous Brazilian bandit leader in the last century, and whose exploits turned him into a “folk hero”. There is also a replica of a plaster house used by the local people. • Unfortunately the Museum in a very small collection. The stories are interesting, but nothing you wouldn't find in a quick search on the internet. Recommended only for those who do not know practically nothing about the cangaço.
