  • The city of Piranhas is a jewel in the middle of the outback. Besides the beautiful architecture, the history of the highwaymen and the beautiful São Francisco River make the city great. No wonder the Piranha is the only town of the northeastern semi-arid region designated as a national historic landmark. The Museum, though small, contains all necessary information about the city and about the cangaço. Worth knowing everything.

  • It's worth hiring a boat on the edge of the River to take a bath with exclusivity on Ilha das Cobras (snake detail only in name). The Boatman, 50 R$, takes you and then search in the combined time. After lunch a pitu (species of river shrimp better than lobster.

  • The place is charming! Ancient architecture, the city carries alive the Lamp on the banks of the beautiful San Francisco River. At the time of St. John, if parties intensify. There are groups playing on the square, people dance and have fun. Family environment. There are bars and restaurants with outdoor tables. A q ride is worth it!
