Where to stay in Petropolis

Unfortunately, no matter how much you're willing to spend, your accommodations in Petropolis won't be quite as luxurious as Emperor Pedro's former palace. Nevertheless, you can choose from a range of delightful guesthouses and boutique hotels during your Petropolis vacation, many of which are housed in well-preserved colonial buildings and offer spacious gardens to enjoy. The city's old center, with close proximity to the palace and the striking cathedral, remains the most popular neighborhood among tourists. However, you can also find a range of places to stay in the southwestern neighborhood of Quitandinha, which contains a scenic lake of the same name.

  • Sadly, the house fell into disrepair and the only thing left to it is the (fantastic) restaurant.

  • It's a nice place but needs attention. The House is historical and deserves to be better cared for. The owner is a lovely person accompanying you all for stopping by at home. Recommend

  • Linda! Received by the House, the same heir makes all reception, and tells the story of the place. The House known as "home of the 7 mistakes", on account of lack of symmetry on the facade, preserves and original decor gives the time.

  • I haven't been to the restaurant (q was pretty full for lunch on Saturday). The House would have a huge tourism potential if it were more well preserved, but it looks like an abandoned property.
