  • I went in the late afternoon and I just did walk a lot. The landscape is very beautiful but doesn't have much to do. I've been all over the edge looking for some "attraction". I had a very good by R$14,00 Acai and went back to the hotel. Looking at the other reviews I realized that during the night the ride is better

  • Unfortunately the horrible smell. If I could get this bad smell of the scenario would be nice (and still after all). But the edge and simple and confusing: the bicycle trail mixes and crosses with the area reserved for pedestrians. Anyway, does not yield a good ride. The sunset and amazing!

Where to stay in Petrolina

Much of Petrolina’s activity centers around the snaking Sao Francisco River, and the majority of the city’s hotels can be found here. These vary in quality but offer easy access to restaurants, bars, and stores as well as the city of Juazeiro, which sits just across the bridge. Those who want to enjoy the youthful buzz and affordable eateries that the University provides should look for accommodations near or on Dom Malan Square. Smaller guesthouses and bed and breakfasts tend to be less expensive but are generally tucked away in residential areas.
