Where to stay in Pelotas

The Porto and Centro districts, just north of Canal de Sao Goncalo, represent the most popular places to stay for visitors to the city. Comfortable chain hotels sit on grand boulevards, while simpler, more humble offerings can be found on the districts' side streets, including hostels and pousadas (guesthouses). Heading east, motels along the Av. Adolfo Fetter provide good options for those wanting to explore the surrounding landscape, as well as the main urban areas. Still farther to the east, you'll find comfortable pousadas next to the lagoon's beach.

  • Every day I'm in this square, but unfortunately the population that frequents and makes use as work let dirty loca, garbage everywhere and basket's recyclables and organic, unfortunately there is no education and in the morning the square looks more like a garbage dump. Just plain sad.

  • One of the most significant sites for the identity of pellets! Several trees with plaques indicating their names, nice atmosphere, but not always lack of security.

  • Linda plaza... The atmosphere is pleasant and the amazing place (very quiet)... I recommend you visit in the fall, to sit and have a coffee and read a good book.
