  • The Museum is very interesting. The architecture of the House is beautiful and the park where it is deployed is very well taken care of. The rooms tell the history of the family of Baroness and on each corner are displayed historical items that belonged to them. For those who appreciate history is a visit not to be missed.

  • Another fine for history of Pellets turned into Museum. Worth the visit. Many furniture and utensils of the time, very well preserved. The entrance is $ $3.00.

  • A museum where you can learn a lot about the Baroness ali dwelt, see furniture, etensílios, clothes and etc. On top of this, the property has a beautiful park, full of trees and lawn, ideal for your rest and to make a picnic with the whole family even with friends, taking chimarrão in group in the evening or other time if you want.

  • The museum was closed when we went, it has odd hours and was closed during open hours. Whoever it has a nice park around the house to enjoy with family. Has many children's play areas and trees for a quick nap.
  • Hum....
  • It seems well-kept Museum, but talking with people who understand and know the history of the place and region, the Museum would be far more interesting if the local administration the years 80/90 had saved and paid more attention to what the construction means. Anyway, worth a visit.

  • Abandoned place, phone doesn't work to know if it will be open or closed. Getting there, warning that is closed by bad weather (detail: it was cloudy). A joke. Park with mato alto, poorly attended. The bandstand with years of pixaçoes and abandoned. A real relaxation, a vacant lot. Do not recommend nor pass near. Unfortunate ...

  • Great place for a stroll, picnic, take the kids for fun, but I was very unhappy to hear a man saying there is no more the Museum, and the city, withdrew the Museum and is using the dependencies of the House to accommodate their employees ... I hope I'm wrong about what this gentleman said. #triste

Where to stay in Pelotas

The Porto and Centro districts, just north of Canal de Sao Goncalo, represent the most popular places to stay for visitors to the city. Comfortable chain hotels sit on grand boulevards, while simpler, more humble offerings can be found on the districts' side streets, including hostels and pousadas (guesthouses). Heading east, motels along the Av. Adolfo Fetter provide good options for those wanting to explore the surrounding landscape, as well as the main urban areas. Still farther to the east, you'll find comfortable pousadas next to the lagoon's beach.
