  • The Raso da Catarina is a dry Canyon, which is on the Pankararé Indian reservation. To get there, just from 4 x 4 to win the areião. We went with the Tony's Guide, Kalango do Sertão (75) 98858-9199, I highly recommend his service. I went to my car, then left for 150.00 but if you want the package with 4-wheel drive I think goes for 450.00 bucks. I arranged everything the night before with him, we went to the hotel where I stayed. No problem. The place is for those who like arid locations, desert landscapes and don't care about the heat of 40°. On booking you pay a fee of 20.00 and the city until then gives more or less 1:00 drive. Love, and was one of the best tours of the trip.

  • The dry Canyon shallow Catarina is one of those places that fascinate you from the beginning to the end of the tour. Walls in sandstone rocks with various shapes that let the imagination flow and do this trail of course safely and accompanied by local guides. It was one of the best experiences ever lived!

  • Beautiful landscapes, cave paintings, rock walls, caatinga, traditional peoples etc. It's too bad we don't have places on the trail, so the atmosphere is a little harsh, you have to get ready. Recommend going to CHICO in the day of the walk of São Roque, when residents are waiting for the visitors, and to better know the local culture.
