  • The Emperor's Path is a path of compacted with multiple ripples and cow rib connecting Paty do Alferes, Miguel Pereira and Petrópolis. Perfect for those who like cycling and has willingness to make this crossing very steep and challenging. For those who like to enjoy nature but prefers to go by car, you will find magnificent scenery and waterfalls along the way, but will shake a lot in the car. Now if you're an athlete and you have available to do this walking route, it is also possible to make the crossing every year is held by Catholic pilgrims. Without doubt the highlight of the tour is the Emperor's Stone located at the top of the Hill, the border of Stockport and Petropolis, where you can see even the Guanabara Bay.

  • I visited an Inn which stood in the way. for being a dirt road this well preserved and offers a reasonable traffic for vehicles. Little signs but well pretty. I have no idea how it looks on rainy days, but I believe should be more complicated run for it.

  • Great way for people who enjoy the nature! We need to do it without haste preferably with a tall vehicle. At some point my GPS didn't work.
