The clean stretch of fine sand at Atalaia Beach is perfect for you to relax on. Parasols are not allowed so, even when busy, it feels incredibly spacious. The translucent water is warm, and, as well as swimming, you can try your hand at numerous water sports, including jet skiing. Back on the beach, as you walk along you will find many restaurants serving the best of local cuisine. Want fun a lot? Want to see us, a lot of people? Want music and hype all day? Want several options of beach huts. Want good structure of hotels and guesthouses around the beach? Then come to the beach of Atalaia. Have a nice bath of sea, with moderate waves, great to catch an alligator or play of Bodyboarding. By being rasinha and long strip of sand, is great for children and the elderly.

An easily accessible beach with clear blue waters, with many bars and very nice priced handicrafts.

The hottest beach. Atalaia has many bars and restaurants with live music, is always very busy as it is the favourite beach of Piauí, there you will find local craft fairs.

Where to stay in Parnaiba

Where the city nestles up to the banks of the river, find charming pousadas (guesthouses) offering a range of facilities and excellent views. Elsewhere in the town, simple hotels and pousadas dominate, with prices dropping markedly in traditionally residential areas. Hostels provide good options for more budget-conscious travelers, while rental apartments represent a good choice for those staying in the city for a little longer, giving an extra degree of independence to go out and explore the town and surrounding areas.
