  • Did the trail in a group of 6 friends and without Guide. Don't really have the need to guide as it is a very well-marked trail (unless you want to know more about stories of the region etc). The trail is approximately 45 km in total. In the city of São João do Barreiro took a transport offered by Eliezer (second gas station at the entrance to the city). He took us from the truck to the entrance of the Park (27 km from town). On the first day we walked about 13 miles past the waterfalls of San and Possessions and Ida in the late afternoon we stopped to sleep in Mrs. Palmira (3 km past the Farm Barreirinha, where most people end up getting). We ended up camping and dining there. Definitely recommend a stay. On the second day we walked about 5 miles until you reach the waterfall of Deer, really of extreme beauty. We spent the afternoon for her and went back to camping on the riverbank near the property of Zé do Zico (there they serve dinner and accommodation for those who prefer to sleep in beds). On the third day we woke up bright and early for the walk of approximately 18 km to the bridge wire (end of the trail). This last day requires a lot of attention on the trail for being dense forest and downhill with a lot of loose rocks and holes. I've done a few tracks but this was one of the most beautiful I've ever done, for sure. Well worth doing camping because the greatly reduces the cost of the trip. NOTE: do not recommend performing the track in periods of rain as the trail gets really hard because of the downhill with a lot of mud and potholes.

  • I am very interested in historical tours, especially in places like Paraty. When I got into town, I asked information about the tour of the caminho do ouro/Royal Road where I was staying and in some agencies, but no one knew inform. Fortunately, I found in Paraty Tour, located on AV. Roberto Silveira. Oscar Guide gave a lesson in history and geography field. An excellent walk to verify in Portuguese adaptation locu tropical conditions, to think about the distant golden path and to try to imagine the daunting adventure dos bandeirantes exploring the interior of the continent. The path has 2, 5 km in the Atlantic forest, a waterfall at the end. Really was the coolest ride I did in Paraty. If you have an interest in history, be sure to do so. Take an umbrella or a raincoat, because there's always a drizzle in the beginning of the path. Prefer footwear with good grip, because the path can be slippery.

  • Did the crossing of the track of full gold, leaving from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro. The "Guide" left much to be desired, because it doesn't have that preparation and or training for such (already denounced the citizen to CADASTUR because put the Group at risk), but other than that, requires a lot of physical preparation, I as a professional of physical education for a moment I felt like I couldn't handle the crossing but I gave! For the adventurers on duty, hire an excellent guide, go forward and be happy too!
