The Ponta Negra Beach, a place where I was staying for a week is a pretty cute, although very place abandoned by the municipality, the beach is beautiful, but lack of investment can be observed inter alia municipal since for example, have collapsed all the stairs down to the beach and so have been the place where one must descend are precarious wooden stairs the sea is not so warm, but it is not cold, slightly chopped also, perhaps by the time of the year in which we visited it, (July). I expected more than this place. Not recommend.

This little corner of Paraty is really magnificent. The edge of Ponta Negra is really small, and the sea calm. To get my boyfriend and I took a boat from the beach of sleep, because we wanted to have that experience, it was about R $50.00 the two. If you have money go by boat, the sea is amazing and you can still see some turtles. If it is, until it's very quiet, but Antiguinhos then it starts to get a bit more complicated, there are about 3:00 of walking, so bring water and fruit to replenish the energies, there are waterfalls on the way, so you can enjoy the nature. Throughout the Sleep it is advisable to take money. Ponta Negra has a lot of culture caiçara, there are several houses there, bar. Pull up a conversation with an older site and you will know more of this incredible piece of the world. For those going down Bravo, ask before you go taking the trail because there are no signs indicating the way and you can get lost going uphill. The trail is long and a little heavy, but it's an amazing waterfall overlooking the sea. If you go back, you will need to jump between the rock and the boat and dropped in the sea.

Where to stay in Paraty

If you want close proximity to raucous summer nightlife and some of the best things to see in Paraty, look no further than the historical center. There you can choose from any number of guesthouses, inns, and boutique hotels, which integrate seamlessly into the town's colonial architecture. If beach access is your primary concern, cross the canal and head a few minutes north, until you arrive at the coastal neighborhood of Jabaquara, where you'll find a range of cozy options. Farther from the center, the hillside neighborhood of Pantanal offers something a bit quieter among the trees.
