Paraty-Mirim Beach, Paraty
(3.9/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
Paraty-Mirim Beach provides you with a deserted and peaceful experience since it is a beach not as well known. The landscape is impressive with a mangrove river flowing right through the sand and the lush Atlantic Forest surrounding you all around. There is direct bus service you can take advantage of and, once you’re there, discover the rich history of the area. Explore the nearby Indian reservation, the ruins of old buildings, and the ancient Our Lady of Conception Church. You can also catch boats to take you to the nearby islands to change up the scenery a bit. Two restaurants provide you with dining options, but it is still recommended that you bring your own snacks and drinks. • Beautiful beach and calm, but with a small strip of sand. We went over the weekend that the tide filled so much that covered the sand beach parking and we couldn't take advantage. But it seems very cozy. 5 km dirt road to reach.

  • The beach is lovely. Still waters, however the arrival there is terrible. A list of those, with stretches of dirt road and small asphalted stretches. The route passes by an Indian tribe. Don't think you're going to see Indians as they came into the world, but they're on the road, with their striking features. The beach does not have much structure, only a bar with little resource, more drinks, it is next to one of the oldest churches in the region and next to a tree that needs no comments. All the way, stressful, it's worth it! ;)

  • This beach is for those who love quietness and peacefulness. Easy to reach and with good shadow. I spent a lovely afternoon in this place
