Where to stay in Paraty

If you want close proximity to raucous summer nightlife and some of the best things to see in Paraty, look no further than the historical center. There you can choose from any number of guesthouses, inns, and boutique hotels, which integrate seamlessly into the town's colonial architecture. If beach access is your primary concern, cross the canal and head a few minutes north, until you arrive at the coastal neighborhood of Jabaquara, where you'll find a range of cozy options. Farther from the center, the hillside neighborhood of Pantanal offers something a bit quieter among the trees.

We were very lucky! We were only 17 people on a "escuna" that could take 100! The trip was nice and relaxing passing by and stopping at 5 different beaches more »
