You must park your car in one of the paid parking lots on the banks of the beach of Paraty Mirim. (R $10.00). There you negotiate the crossing, in my case a boatman approached us in the own parking lot. The boat is R $150.00 if you want to go straight to the beach do Cruzeiro, where begins the trail or R $200.00 with stop to swim in the most beautiful beach of saco do mamanguá, praia do engenho. Important detail: this value is by boat, that is, being in the group gets more value into account in General can go to 06 people, depending on the size of the vessel. When I went there was no one else wanting to cross, then pay the R $200.00, me and my husband. We made the crossing with Lucas and it was great. On the way he passed in a seaweed (I've never seen anything like it!) and we spotted various turtles, it was beautiful! From there, a stop at praia do engenho. After Lucas left us on the beach, cruise explained where we took the trail and we talked about the time he would seek us. The trail is short, 1.5 km, but are rising is intense, with little snippets of-hike "up. The greatest difficulty was that we were in the dry season and the dirt road was ridiculously slippery, with Earth quite smooth. The descent took two tumbles, one that cost me some grated and an elbow sore for days. Walking stick is very desirable, my me got rid of several other falls. Closed shoes with non-slip soles also makes a difference. (Although it has decided to get flip-flop, the biggest mistake I made!). There is no water on the trail, so take your bottle. The look of the top is wonderful, there is no way to protect yourself from the Sun if you want to contemplate with greater comfort recommend taking an umbrella and sit under it, very helpful. On arrival you can eat or drink something at the restaurant the sugar loaf, of Mr. Orlando, that sits just off the trail. (The prices are more expensive by the isolation of the place, but it is possible to nip something else in mind. Crisp R $20.00, R $6.00, canned Soda, juice R $7.00. Mr Orlando also has a camping and cottages to rent, there is a good for those seeking a secluded location and rest. In addition to his restaurant there is another right next door, but we were not there. In short: take water, track stick, non-slip footwear, umbrella for use there and breath. If you can share the boat with others, save! Would again? SURELY.

Sensational! I went in September 2017 with my boyfriend and a couple of friends, despite having already done a few tracks, I found this really heavy, even though it's only 2 km, the Bush is well closed and there is enough slope, on the most difficult parts there are ropes to assist Despite all the perrengue that I spent, did the trail in 1 hour 50 minutes of ascent and descent. The view is amazing, really worth the suffering.

Where to stay in Paraty

If you want close proximity to raucous summer nightlife and some of the best things to see in Paraty, look no further than the historical center. There you can choose from any number of guesthouses, inns, and boutique hotels, which integrate seamlessly into the town's colonial architecture. If beach access is your primary concern, cross the canal and head a few minutes north, until you arrive at the coastal neighborhood of Jabaquara, where you'll find a range of cozy options. Farther from the center, the hillside neighborhood of Pantanal offers something a bit quieter among the trees.
