  • Amazing fortress! I didn't expect it is so big. Keep in mind wearing comfortable shoes to get to the top. You will find more interesting strengthening and guns from 1910 year. You will see gorgeous gu...  more »

  • I've been in the fortress in 2002 and I revisited last week. What's changed? In 2002 there was nobody running, today the IPHAN runs and still the same. Put some informational panels, in addition to an employee and a guard. We talked with them, no concern with equity, with cleaning or conservation. Luckily, the fortress is strong, resists the centuries, but the sea is doing damage to the structure. Even when this historic site will endure?
