Ilha Canela, Palmas
(4.2/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
Cozy and private, with a secluded beach favored by families with kids, Ilha Canela offers a view of the entire city, which the locals claim is best appreciated at sunset. This artificially-made island rises out of calm lake waters and is a frequent site of family picnics. Children enjoy swimming in several areas set up for them in the warm shallows. Adults can choose from several popular bars, with tables and chairs set up right in the water, so you can enjoy a cold drink without ever having to leave your own spot in the lake. You can also visit one of many food stalls serving roasted fish with rice and fresh salad, considered to be a local delicacy. • Although the values are excessive is a good option for those who want to enjoy a quiet beach. The screensavers make children bathing.

  • Is one of the tourist attractions in Palmas. You can go by boat from time to time of praia da Graciosa or motorboat, which can be cheaper. On the island there is a beach of calm water and brunette, but little power option, so you get a little hostage of restaurant available, whose service is slow and the price is not the cheapest.

  • Very good. Worth knowing. I had the opportunity to get off and the body in wet chalana river water.
