  • The Pico Itacolomi has 1772 meters in height, features two tracks, one for inside the State Park, with 14 km (round trip) and the other much more difficult and strenuous trail that you can only do with a guide, 24 km in total, coming out of the opposite side of the entrance to the Park. For more grueling, the largest track and wonderful, beautiful landscapes, pretty hard to be done but when it gets up there is worth every second. Wear comfortable shoes for hikes and take plenty of water and some food. On the way there are some natural water spouts, to fill the empty bottles. Important to go with a guide, as the walk is long and fine early helps a lot, we start the walk the 8 A.M. and just return the 17 hours.
