  • Location literally stunning. For me, the most beautiful of Ouro Preto. The presentation of documents, information about the location gives us greater security. You can't go without a guide. Don't go if you don't have great physical condition. It's hard to walk. More or less the 5 6:00 round-trip. Appropriate clothing and shoes. Well take a staff. Very helpful. I didn't, but I helped myself to an umbrella as a cane. Don't go in the rain. Another unpleasant detail-mosquitoes or something like that. Take liters of repellents, English hat (the one with veil covering the face). Food and water in high quantity, will be missed. There's no where to buy. However it is worth. The scenery is breath-taking. Every new rise scenario presents itself. Nothing's the same. Mother nature was in a good mood when he hit her magic wand on this peak.

  • I haven't been able to complete the ascent to the peak itself. I intend to return to conclude it. But as far as was the view is stunning. And inside the park there are several places to be visited and known, or rather desbravados. Museums, dam and trails! Go to the Eco and Lookout for proof the lungs is necessary!

  • Exotic and beautiful place! Best attraction of Ouro Preto. Has excellent views of the surrounding towns. It's a little tiring, the walk is long (about 5 hours round trip), but is very worthwhile! Recommend taking at least 2 litres of water per person, some food, and use sunscreen. Elderly or with difficulty of locomotion may not do very well with this tour.
