  • I came to the Church St. Francis de Paula; at the entrance of the city. Was by car; but I confess that the hills don't have inspired me. I met a guide-Alexander; saved the fatherland! Gave me courage; and accompanied me and my mother. Visit all sights of the city. How Wonderful! How much history! How much emotion! Had already gone to Ouro Preto for over 20 years; but the help and knowledge of Alexander has made all the difference! A simple man, "Earth"; humble, but very knowledgeable; and gave me the courage I needed to drive in all the hills of this lovely city of hospitable people-as all the miners. Treatment of first-Oh Minas Gerais ... how much miss you me back!

  • Very beautiful and quite good. Does not allow shooting, which is a shame because your interior brings us to a colonial Brazil and paintings and beautiful images. What struck me most was the painting of the ceiling and chandeliers candelabra relegated in the center of the Church.

  • The Church closes during lunch and cannot be visited at times of mass; so, try to combine a visit to her with the oratory Museum, which is on the side, and is very interesting. Before you even get in, admire the facade, with the Locket that connects the façade and the glass window, and the towers with a format that give movement to the project. Inside, members of the brotherhood can approach you for a conversation about the Church: don't repel (as must be done in the case of street guides). They can take you to visit the tower with the Bell until now used to call the masses, with a beautiful view of the city. and also point out details in the sacristy as the scratches on the wall and on the floor that may have been traces of the design of the high altar.
