  • We drove through the village and after Church the right took a narrow and poorly signaled good access to near the waterfall. (On rainy days it might be better to leave the car near the Church and go on foot I think is 30 min walk) Easy walk for 15 minutes, location great for swimming with several wells and enjoy nature! Take water and snacks and your garbage back!

  • After turning Lavras Novas, enters a road not paved. When you find the fork with Lavras or High 4 km, then to high. Arriving at the village of Slap, take the street on the right and Park your car behind the Church. Start walking route through the entrance on the side of the Church. Follow the trail, with rugged and steep parts but possible, straight ahead. Along the way, there is a plastic card with a red arrow. Continue straight ahead. Upstairs, between the opening of the fence on your right. A little bit in front, there are two plastic plates with arrows in red. Between on the left. Here hampers some descent, but with care you can do. In total should give some 30 minutes walking until you reach the waterfall, which is very muddy, but you can have some fun. The current is strong, but it is possible to reach the waterfall along the water hole to the right. Has standing to adults across the waterfall. The back tires a little because of the climb, but you don't have to run. Don't advise the way up High or rain Mines. The road gets a lot of mud and the waterfall gets too hard and becomes more difficult to bathe.

  • This waterfall is one of the most beautiful of the region of Ouro Preto. It has a beautiful waterfall and a natural pool you can swim. The water is crystal clear.
