Hiking Trail
Private tours take visitors to the pristine Andorinhas waterfall, located in Parque das Andorinhas, a large environmental protection area. Expert guides can lead you up a series of trails leading to this waterfall, which is famous for its rock formations creating a sort of small cave. These ancient stones attract hundreds of swallows each summer, prompting locals to call this site the "Waterfall of the Swallows." Keep in mind that in order to enter this cavern you will need to go down a short ladder, so comfortable clothes and soft shoes are highly recommended. For those looking for less adventure and more relaxation, the park also offers a variety of activities, like swimming, sunbathing, , and picnicking. Our Ouro Preto trip itinerary planner makes visiting Andorinhas waterfall and other Ouro Preto attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • The Park of the swallows, this waterfall is beautiful. a nice place to visit, but I suggest going with a guide, and if possible on weekdays. The Guide itself in EU disseq weekends, fill other and we believe that the quality of the ride is less than a day of the week that has almost no one. Also to access to the waterfall is best supported by a guide or a person who lives and knows the area. And enjoy the ride. yields beautiful photos and nature to be appreciated is well wide.

  • It is easy to get to the park with the city bus that comes out of Tiradentes square co the morro de são sebastião. just ask down in front of the bar. the other ado of the street is the starting point of the trail it's easy and although not flagged is simple to follow. the walk is approximately half an hour. You can arrive by car or taxi directly to the visitor center, which has bathrooms. Use repellent and check the clothes, because it's a natural area can have ticks that transmit Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

  • In addition to a fantastic beauty, the Park has a good structure to receive tourists. At the entrance has toilets, shower with hot water, water cooler and staff to give you information. Have kiosks with barbecue, sink and a table, so you can make a good barbecue. Has several waterfalls within the Park and the rocks have signs with arrows of distinct colors for each waterfall. Awesome, I will be back more often!
