  • The attraction need to be enjoyed for its wilderness, not as a "park" There are small waterfalls in the middle of woods. Plenty of paths to walk, wild monkeys, plenty of mosquitoes too.  more »

  • It's nature. Nature is good. There were some geese, monkeys and ducks. Way too many spiders. The rocks, underneath the natural bathing areas along the creek that runs through the reserve, hurt my feet. A lot. But I guess that's just the way things are. The lifeguards are pretty cool and the landscape is gorgeous. Main bathing areas are the first drop which is like 10 feet high and 10 ft deep. Second is 14 high and 14 deep. The others are increasingly higher and deeper until the fifth one, the highest at 100 feet high and like 40 deep. (Those are my estimates, they've got signs everywhere, some of them are Portuguese only, some of them are Spanish and English as well. All of them are metric, though). It's a family business. It could use some improvement on the insect riddled eating areas, IMO.
  • Great infrastructure. The waterfalls are really easy to get to. It's very clean and tidy.
  • Gorgeous ecological preserved land. Awesome tourist attraction and an area that's ripe for scientific research. Enjoy with your family. *****
  • Amazing place especially for swimming under the waterfall
