The Jau national park is located in the Amazonas state in Brazil, between 1º00’—3º00’S and 61º30’—64º00’W.It is the largest forest reserve in South America, covering an area greater than 5.6 million acres . Entry into the park is restricted; express permission from the Brazilian government is required to enter the reserve.The park is known as a good example of tropical rainforest conservation in the Amazon. Muito interessante visitar o Igarapé preto,onde pela manhã foi possível observar uma família de 4 lontras passando próximo do barco onde estávamos ancorados,para um delicioso café da manhã.Pois na seq... read more »Very interesting to visit the Bayou black, where in the morning it was possible to observe a family of otters 4 passing close to the boat where we were anchored, for a delicious breakfast. Because as a result we had a walk in the jungle for 3 hours. It is recommended to bring long pants, tennis long barrel to avoid snake and insects, insect repellents and mineral water. Woods closed with a good chance of spotting an animal like, paca, tapir or deer.show original
