Pinheiro Multissecular, Nova Petropolis

Visit Pinheiro Multissecular, one of the oldest trees in Brazil, which is estimated to be a thousand years old. After parking your car, take a 15-minute walk to reach this lush and impressive pine, which is typical of Southern Brazil, except that this one is so massive. Not only because of it’s towering height, but also because its width takes about eight people to embrace. This is an oasis in the midst of commercial life, an opportunity to commune with nature. Worth knowing this rarity, as it was the only one left from the time of the German colonization. Is in the town of Nova Petrópolis toward Lawn

The road leading to the site is very picturesque. The location where the pine tree is quite isolated and when we went was deserted. We were afraid and stayed a short time.

With good access to walking and Earth. The surroundings is of private properties. What really counts is to see the beautiful feet of Araucaria as old. The plates say only that has more than a thousand years, I think I deserved a more accurate information.
