Pinheiro Multissecular, Nova Petropolis

3.6
#3 of 11 in Trails in State of Rio Grande do Sul
Visit Pinheiro Multissecular, one of the oldest trees in Brazil, which is estimated to be a thousand years old. After parking your car, take a 15-minute walk to reach this lush and impressive pine, which is typical of Southern Brazil, except that this one is so massive. Not only because of it’s towering height, but also because its width takes about eight people to embrace. This is an oasis in the midst of commercial life, an opportunity to commune with nature. • I've been on the site and I couldn't access it. The road was closed and it would only be possible to access the same walk. As the distance was a few Km I ended up giving up. I changed my roteio so I can visit Patel and I couldn't. It was pretty frustrating. And just found out that after traveling a while to return to there coming back from lawn to porto Alegre.
