I love everything in this visit. The trail is beautiful, stone walls and small caves. At the end the beautiful dog sitting stone! Recommend!

Entry into the Park is pay but worth it for those who have interest in the trail. Consider a lightweight trail that lasts on average 40 minutes of ascent. In addition the Park has some tree climbing activities (paid) and a beautiful Lake for photographs.

Very interesting that stone, yields beautiful pictures. Admission is R$12,00, the trail lasts about 40 minutes, nonstop. Light level. Trail well marked.

Where to stay in Nova Friburgo

As a popular tourist hotspot, Nova Friburgo boasts a wide range of boutique, midsize hotels in the city center, mainly clustered within a few blocks of the Bengalas River. These accommodations, just a short walk from the city's main streets, tend to be somewhat upscale, with onsite pools and gardens. Many feature architectural styles reminiscent of Swiss and German mountain chalets. In the hills south of the city, past Point de Saudade, you'll find more nature-oriented options and eco-lodges, which focus on comfort combined with a somewhat rustic feel. Plenty of "pousadas" also dot the area: traditional Brazilian guesthouses offering lower prices in exchange for fewer amenities.
