Wonderful place, with family atmosphere. It was my third time already in place. Is private so it is charged a small fee (R $3.00), but is very worthwhile. Very well maintained, have a pool that can be used, shower and a bar. You will be very well received and answered by the friendly owner of the site. The bar has great snacks. Has a space with beautiful lawn to get that Sun and the waterfall is beautiful! In the months of December to March can be even more folding with the beautiful hydrangeas that are cultivated on the way to the waterfall.

Pay if $3 real to enter. But it is perfect location. Clean and the people are friendly. Has bathrooms and a swimming pool. It has a cafeteria. The waterfall is great for bathing.

The waterfall is a beautiful place, full of hydrangeas, pays 3.00 to enter a bar, bathroom and infrastructure all taken care of. The waterfall itself is not so beautiful, but it's worth the ride.

Where to stay in Nova Friburgo

As a popular tourist hotspot, Nova Friburgo boasts a wide range of boutique, midsize hotels in the city center, mainly clustered within a few blocks of the Bengalas River. These accommodations, just a short walk from the city's main streets, tend to be somewhat upscale, with onsite pools and gardens. Many feature architectural styles reminiscent of Swiss and German mountain chalets. In the hills south of the city, past Point de Saudade, you'll find more nature-oriented options and eco-lodges, which focus on comfort combined with a somewhat rustic feel. Plenty of "pousadas" also dot the area: traditional Brazilian guesthouses offering lower prices in exchange for fewer amenities.
