  • Historic site and beautiful! Probably the most beautiful College of Brazil! Super differentiated architecture

  • Recommend to visit on Saturdays, because there is no guided tour from 9:00, (call ahead to confirm). The guided tour provides an internal tour to meet the dependencies of the school, the architecture is well preserved and well worth a visit. The garden is also beautiful, making the ride even more enjoyable.

  • I studied 07 (seven) years in this school. Even today I remember with longing of colleagues and teachers, that with strict discipline formed good people!

Where to stay in Nova Friburgo

As a popular tourist hotspot, Nova Friburgo boasts a wide range of boutique, midsize hotels in the city center, mainly clustered within a few blocks of the Bengalas River. These accommodations, just a short walk from the city's main streets, tend to be somewhat upscale, with onsite pools and gardens. Many feature architectural styles reminiscent of Swiss and German mountain chalets. In the hills south of the city, past Point de Saudade, you'll find more nature-oriented options and eco-lodges, which focus on comfort combined with a somewhat rustic feel. Plenty of "pousadas" also dot the area: traditional Brazilian guesthouses offering lower prices in exchange for fewer amenities.
