  • I visited the Fort St. Louis in Niteroi/RJ 3/5/2017 day. The Fort is open for visitation from 3a. Sunday, only with guided tours at 11:00 and at 2:00 pm, although this is not informed on the website. The price is 10.00 to R$, with children, students and disabled people pay half ($ 5.00). For over 65 years the visitation is free. The meeting point is at Fort White River, around and you get with your Jurujuba own car, driving to the top, about 300 metres of altitude. First visit the Fort St. Louis, with great views, but the best is yet to come, with the visit further up to the Fort of the peak, and from there the view of the coast of Niteroi and Guanabara Bay are simply wonderful, especially on days with good lighting. The guides, very attentive, explain the historical part and even the military power of the guns for that time .1912. It's worth. Highly recommended.

  • The Fort is set of visitation. You can walk up along with the guide or can climb by car and wait for him upstairs. Just found out that when I was up there and regretted very much not having risen by car. The ascent is quite steep and as were 11 A.M., the Sun was very strong. The view from up there is amazing. The ride yields good pictures.

  • Amazing ride to the ruins of Fort St. Louis. The military service is impeccable and are very helpful. The visits take place at 10:00 and at 2:00 pm. It's a quiet hike which lasts on average 40 minutes. Important to take water, light snack, wear comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen. Phone for visitation: 3611-4205
