Where to stay in Natal

Looking to enjoy the best beaches and soak up the holiday atmosphere, most visitors eschew the city center when it comes to accommodations in Natal. Instead, many look to the southern beachside neighborhood of Ponta Negra, which brims with tourist resorts and the accompanying bars, restaurants, and cafes. If you want to escape the tourist route and experience the city itself, you'll find plenty of options along the beachside boulevard of Av. Presidente Cafe Filho--a stone's throw from the beach and the city center. For something much quieter, surrounded by rolling dunes and clear waters, stay on the seafront next to Parque das Dunas.

  • September 7, PLAZA (Plaza of the three powers) in front of this square are some of the most important buildings of the historic centre of Natal as Palace Felipe Camarão (seat of the Natal or Prefeitura Municipal Government), the Palace of culture (Potengi Palace) which was the headquarters of the State Government and where currently operates the Pinacoteca of the State), Palace José Augusto seat of the Legislative Assembly and the Court of Justice of the State. Close to it are the Andre Albuquerque Plaza, was built in 1914 and is a small but very nice, square with trees, benches and manicured gardens and where shows and events. After the closure of the business area can be somewhat dangerous. The monument to the independence of Brazil: inaugurated in 1922 has two value symbolic figures. The main one is a woman who represents the country that holds in one hand the book of history and points on it the date of the anniversary. Another work shows a man offering the country a bunch of laurels that represents the triumph obtained by force.

  • I really like when I go to the center of Christmas through this city. She is very quiet, well wooded and without a lot of people, maybe that's why there are many student couples always dating by stools. The good is q has a kiosk selling snacks and a q nice Sugarcane juice. It's good to always keep an eye because everything in the city centre has some kids and there's a history of thefts.

  • The square is small, there are flowers and beautiful monument, built in 1922, in honor of 100 years of independence of Brazil, the lack of some elements, possibly due to the action of vandals. Around the square are some public buildings.
